Founded in 2017, SB Real Estate Partners (“SBREP”) is a multifamily investment firm committed to acquiring and asset managing value-add investments throughout the United States. With an extensive track record in the institutional multifamily space, SBREP consistently sources compelling investment opportunities with the goal of maximizing value and risk-adjusted returns for its investors and partners.
Srijin Bandyopadhyay is the Founder & Managing Principal of SBREP, with nearly 20-years of commercial real estate experience & over 10-years of multifamily investment experience. Prior to founding SBREP, Srijin was responsible for aquiring over $1.2 billion of multifamily acquisitions throughout the Western US for Greystar Real Estate Partners. Srijin holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Preston McNeil is a Principal at SBREP, where he is responsible for overseeing all facets of SBREP’s business platform, including the portfolio’s business plan execution. Prior to joining SBREP, Preston was a Vice President at DiNapoli Capital Partners, where he led portfolio management efforts and was involved in over $2.2B in multifamily transactions. Preston holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College.
Matt Prokop is an Associate at SBREP where he is responsible for investment analysis, due diligence, and asset management. Prior to joining SBREP, Matt was an Analyst at JLL Capital Markets, where he focused on multifamily investment sales, financing and joint-venture equity raising for over $2 billion of apartment transactions. Matt received a BS in Accounting from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management.
Lindsay Phillips is a Portfolio Manager at SBREP and brings over 10-years of multifamily experience, having previously worked at Greystar as well as Alliance Residential. Lindsay is fully dedicated to optimizing SBREP’s daily / weekly property performance and business plan execution
Cynthia Bandyopadhyay is the Human Resources & Operations Manager at SBREP. Prior to joining SBREP, she worked within HR & Talent Management at Telsa and B. Braun Medical Inc. Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University.
